Set the static IP address on your Windows PC

  1. First, click on the internet icon in the bottom right corner of the panel using the Right Mouse Button.
  2. Then, select Open Network & Internet settings.
  3. Tap on Change adapter options.
  4. Click on your network card using the Right Mouse Button.
  5. Now choose Properties.
  6. Next, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and press on Properties.
  7. Click on the checkbox next to Use the following IP address.
  8. Enter chosen Static IP address, subnet mask and the default gateway and click OK.
  9. Perfect job! You've just set up a static IP address using your Windows machine!
