How to configure port forwarding for Xbox Series X on TP-LINK Deco E3. Port Forward all the necessarry ports on TP-LINK Deco E3 for Xbox Series X.

How to setup Xbox Series X port forwarding on TP-LINK Deco E3?

  1. In the beginning, start your Xbox Series X.
  2. Now press on the Settings and choose Network tab.  
  3. Select Advanced settings. 
  4. Then note down the IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway of your console, you will need it later. 
  5. Now open TP-LINK Deco E3 admin panel, if you don't know how, check how to Open Admin Page TP-LINK Deco E3.
  6. Click on More Functions. 
  7. Pick Network Settings, select LAN and scroll down the page.   
  8. Press on Add key. 
  9. Insert the IP address and MAC address that you note down from your console.  
  10. Click the OK.  
  11. Next, choose Security Settings and NAT Services.  
  12. Press on Add key. 
  13. Enter the Service name, Device name and Host IP address.   
  14. Now from the Protocol list select TCP/UDP.   
  15. Add to Internal port: 3074, next enter External port: 3074 and click on the Save button.    
  16. Press on Add button once more.
  17. Again enter the Service name, Device name and Host IP address.   
  18. From the Protocol list choose UDP.  
  19. Add to Internal port: 88 and nextly enter External port: 88.  
  20. Lastly, click on the Save key to confirm.  
  21. For everything to work correctly you should repeat steps 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 for ports: 500, 3544, 4500.
  22. Awesome! If all the ports are properly forwarded you should have a better connection between Xbox Series X and TP-LINK Deco E3.
