How to setup Xbox Series S port forwarding on TP-LINK Deco E3?

  1. First, start your Xbox Series S console.
  2. Then click on the Settings and select Network.  
  3. Pick Advanced settings tab. 
  4. Now you need to note down the IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway of your console. 
  5. Open TP-LINK Deco E3 admin panel, if you don't know how, check how to Open Admin Page TP-LINK Deco E3.
  6. Press on More Functions. 
  7. Choose Network Settings, choose LAN and scroll down the page.   
  8. Click on Add button. 
  9. Enter the IP address and MAC address that you write down from the Xbox Series S.  
  10. Now press the OK.  
  11. Then pick Security Settings and NAT Services.  
  12. Press on Add key. 
  13. Next, enter the Service name, Device name and Host IP address.   
  14. From the Protocol list choose TCP/UDP.   
  15. Add to Internal port: 3074 and then enter External port: 3074 and press Save.    
  16. Click on Add button once more.
  17. Again insert the Service name, Device name and Host IP address.   
  18. From the Protocol list pick UDP.  
  19. Add to Internal port: 88 and then enter External port: 88.  
  20. At last, click on the Save button.  
  21. For everything to work correctly you should repeat steps 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 for ports: 500, 3544, 4500.
  22. Wonderful! If all the ports are properly forwarded you should have a better connection between Xbox Series S and TP-LINK Deco E3.
