How to setup PlayStation 5 port forwarding on TP-LINK Deco E3?

  1. At first, open Settings on your PlayStation 5 console.
  2. Click on the Network.
  3. Select Connection Status and pick View Connection Status.
  4. Write down IP Address, MAC Address, Subnet Mask, DNS and Default Gateway.
  5. Now open TP-LINK Deco E3 admin panel, if you don't know how, check how to Open Admin Page TP-LINK Deco E3.
  6. Move to More Functions.
  7. From the list pick Network Settings, select LAN and scroll down the page.  
  8. Click on Add button. 
  9. Enter IP address which must be different than the DHCP IP address range and MAC address that you write down from PS5 Settings.  
  10. Press the OK key to save all settings.
  11. Go Back to PS5, and choose Settings, Network, and Settings.   
  12. Then move to the Set up Internet Connection and choose the network that you want to use.  
  13. Select Advanced Settings and change IP Address Settings from Automatic to Manual.    
  14. Pick IPv4 Address and set IP that you enter in your router and press Done.   
  15. Next, choose Subnet Mask, type it and confirm with the Done key.   
  16. Do the same with your Default Gateway and click Done.   
  17. Confirm all steps by pressing the OK button. 
  18. Wait for a while and you should see the Connected subtitle next to the network that you choose earlier.  
  19. Now move to TP-LINK Deco E3 settings, choose More Functions once more and press on Secuirty Settings. 
  20. Pick NAT Services and click on Add key.  
  21. Enter the Service name, Host IP address and pick the Device name.
  22. From the Protocol list choose TCP/UDP. (If you can't add both options, then add TCP and UDP ports separately Protocol TCP: 1935,3478-3480, Protocol UDP: 3074,3478-3479.)
  23. Add to Internal port: 1935 and then enter External port: 1935.
  24. In the end, press Save.
  25. Great work! With all the ports properly forwarded you should have a better connection between PlayStation 5 and TP-LINK Deco E3.
