MAC Address Filter on TP-LINK Deco E3

How to Filter MAC Addresses on TP-LINK Deco E3:

  1. Firstly, enter 192.168.0.1 or tplinkwifi.net in the web browser address field, you can use any web browser you like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari if you are using macOS.
  2. Enter password, default password is admin, and click LOG IN Button.
  3. When you are in TP-LINK Deco E3 main menu click on the Advanced Icon in top right corner.
  4. Then, click on the Security in the list of options on the left and select Access Control.
  5. Enable Access Control by togglling the switch, and select if you want to use Whitelist or Blacklist filtering.
  6. Either way you can add devices manually or from the list of actually connected devices.
  7. When you choose Add Manual, you need to enter device name and MAC Address.
  8. Confirm everything by clicking Save at the bottom right corner of the page.
  9. Awesome! Now you can control which devices can access your TP-LINK router network, by addind them to the Blacklist.
