How to Setup Static IP for Windows PC on TP-LINK Deco E3

This simple guide will show you how to set up a static IP address for your Windows machine, using both TP-LINK Deco E3 and your computer!

How to set up Static IP address for Windows PC

Before we begin, make sure that you are familiar with your TP-LINK Deco E3's IP address. If you are unsure how to get that information, please read about it here. Now that you know your router's IP address.

  1. Start by opening your router's control panel.
  2. Log in to your router.
  3. Press on the More Functions part.
  4. Then click on the Network Settings and LAN.
  5. Scroll down and tap on Add button.
  6. Now you can Enter MAC address and IP address manually.
  7. Also, you can tap on the Enter manually and choose from the list your computer name. 
  8. When all is done you can press on OK button.
  9. Excellent! You've successfully set a static IP address for a Windows machine.
