- Connect your printer with TP-LINK router using Ethernet cable and LAN port.
- Find printer IP address, you need to access printer settings by pressing buttons on its front cover.
- You can learn how to check the printer IP address by searching for the printer model on HardReset.Info and finding suitable instruction.
- When you know what is your printer IP, you need to open settings in Windows and go to the Printers & Scanners in the left menu.
- Click on the Search for a new device.
- Then select The printer that I want isn't listed.
- Choose to Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname.
- Enter previously found printer IP address and input it, Port name should be filled automatically, click Next.
- Choose printer brand and model from the supported devices list or install it using drivers downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
