How to find changed TP-LINK Deco E3 Wi-Fi password

Are you having trouble finding the changed Wi-Fi password in TP-LINK Deco E3? This tutorial shows you how to find changed TP-LINK Deco E3 Wi-Fi password to Wi-Fi network.

  1. First, press the Search button on the Taskbar. 
  2. In the field type cmd. 
  3. Click on Run as administrator. 
  4. Now you need to type in this command: netsh wlan show profile and press Enter on the keyboard.
  5. You should see all saved Wi-Fi networks. 
  6. Next, type in the command to export your network's info to the files: netsh wlan export profile folder=C:\ key=clear and press Enter on the keyboard once more.
  7. If everything goes well you should see information about successful save.
  8. You can close the console, go to This PC and pick Disk where you save the files.
  9. Find your files, choose this that you want and press the right mouse button on it.
  10. Move to Open with function and pick an app that you prefer to open this file, for example, Notepad. 
  11. At last, you need to find <keyMaterial> and between lines, you find the Wi-Fi password.
  12. Great work! Now you can try to connect with the Wi-Fi network by this password.

  14. But to change your password you can reset your router to factory settings too, you need to open TP-LINK Deco E3 Admin Page.
